Printed boxes are constructed out of 400 gm Matt Art cardstock which is highly durable. They can be printed on both the inside and the outside of the box in either Full Colour or Spot Colour. The printed boxes are able to be finished with Matt or Gloss Lamination and can be made in numerous sizes and types. Types B4 through B9 are able to be finished with Spot UV varnish. These boxes are provided glued and flat which means that are able to be used immediately upon delivery.

When colour is placed across the folds of the printed boxes, it is recommended that the box be laminated in order to eliminate the chance of “white cracking”. In order to provide added stiffness to the boxes, types B4 through B9 are able to be used with fluted liners which are used around the box at its largest dimension.
When deciding to use spot colour on larger size boxes, the customer may be surprised at the cost. Keep in mind that, in order for spot colour to be used, the press must be precisely set up whereas full colour requires less specific general use.
There are various sizes and types of printed boxes which are available for purchase. The first is B1 which measures 91 mm in height, 60 mm in width, and 19 mm in depth. B2 measures 123 mm in height, 70 mm in width, and 33 mm in depth. B3 measures 49 mm x 63 mm x 63 mm, B4 measures 204 mm x 88 mm x 75 mm, B5 measures 240 mm x 120 mm x 47 mm, B6 measures 240 mm x 200 mm x 47 mm, B7 measures 93 mm x 210 mm x 120 mm, B8 measures 230 mm x 230 mm x 100 mm, and type B9 measures 340 mm x 83 mm x 82 mm.
The printed boxes are also available in jumbo sizes. They can be made significantly larger than any of the above standard sizes. These jumbo sizes can reach up to 1600 mm in height and 1170 mm in width per side, but with the addition of additional flaps allowing for the box to be increased by twice this larger size and up. For these large boxes, the designs are printed on thinner stock and then laminated.
The quality of these printed boxes is superior to the traditional boxes. In addition, this allows for thicker boards up to 10mm in depth to be laminated onto fluted or solid board. With highly advanced technology, namely Three Dimensional Design Software, it has become possible to preview the appearance of these printed boxes before sending them to the press to be completed. It is also possible to develop smaller prototypes in order to ensure that the design is corrected before the box is created. Additionally, finishing equipment allows for the company to produce large amounts of boxes.
