It is better to have the face laminated since it improves the finish, makes the post card looks good, and also improves its quality. Its strength and durability are increased with lamination.

If you want to fold your printed postcards, for example if you want to have your A4 postcards to be folded to A5 size, with the colour extending across the fold, then having them laminated is the best option.

If you want both sides laminated that can also be done. In such a case, the usual method is to have both sides laminated with the same finish. But you can also have gloss on one side and matt on the other. You just have to contact the printer for estimation.

You could have the printed postcards in A6, A5, one third A4, A4, or custom size. If you have custom size, then what you can do is pay the price for one size up. For example, if you need to print postcards of 210mm by 210 mm size, you can opt for A4 which is 297mm by 210 mm and have it cut down. There are no additional charges for cutting down. The die cutting charge is calculated using a setup charge as well as a run on cost per 1000.

You could have the printed postcards in a variety of different shapes. The offer is there only for A5 size and up. You have to pay the die cut cost only once. Since on subsequent runs, the same die can be used, no additional charges, after the initial payment, are required.

If you want, you can ask for special features such as special print or proofing. These, just as in the case of lamination, will require additional charges. But of course the charges will be worth the effort and the payment.

The price per printed postcard decreases when you buy more number of cards; hence a bulk order in effect will cost you less than if you buy cards in smaller sets.
